Celebrating Hope and Bright Futures: KCC’s 4th Graduation Ceremony

On 14 September 2023 the Kaya ChildCare Centre (KCC) in Madina, Accra, was abuzz with excitement as we celebrated a remarkable milestone – our 4th Graduation Ceremony. Held on September 14, 2023, at 9:00 AM, this event marked a momentous occasion for us, as it bore witness to the largest cohort of graduates since the inception of KCC.

Since our establishment in 2016, KCC has been unwavering in its dedication to improving the lives of children in the Madina community, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, including children of Kayayoo mothers and other market workers.

Our mission has always been clear: to provide a brighter educational prospect for these urban-poor children. We firmly believe that every child deserves equal access to education regardless of their circumstances. To achieve this, we have worked closely with their mothers, who tirelessly raise their children with limited resources.

This year’s graduation was a momentous occasion filled with pride and accomplishment. Our young graduates, eight in total, all from kindergarten, took their first steps towards a brighter future. As they donned their tiny graduation gowns and caps, their smiles radiated hope and promise.
